A chance to meet others and compare notes
By Sarah Scaife, Curator of West Exe
Forthcoming meetings in 2008

Please note there will be no meeting in August.

Thursday 4 September: Focus on copyright issues and the web, with guest Rick Lawrence, Digital Media Officer from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum.

Thursday 4 October: Bring and scan. Your chance to scan historic photos and images and add them to the Living Here website. Full instructions given. Just bring along your original images.

Saturday 25 October: Special Trip to Devon Record Office to view unique documents related to Alphngton, Exwick, Cowick and St Thomas. Please contact Sarah (below) to book places.

Who can come along to the group?

Is your research related to Cowick, Exwick, Alphington or St Thomas in some way? Are you interested to meet others researching these localities? Then you are invited to come along to a small networking group for people researching aspects of Exeter life west of the Exe including family, business and neighbourhood histories and geography.

When does it meet?

We get together on the first Thursday morning of the month in Exwick. Meetings are informal and free, with tea and coffee provided. Each month has a particular focus but there's also plenty of time to chat and exchange notes and findings. You don't need to make a regular commitment. Just come along as it suits you.
