These are fabulous picture of our famous goose - I cycle along this stretch of the river every day, but have never seen this kind of display. I wonder whether 'Onkers' had joined the new flock, but still residing next to the Mill on the Exe pub! Is it known whether it's a female or male? What is this small book you mention and where to find it?
Thank you Gabi for your very kind comments for my photographs of our famous goose. I also often cycle along that stretch of river we may even have passed one another at some time! I am not surprised that you have never seen "Onkers" display as my pictures. I had to sit on the bank of the river month after month waiting for him to perform. He became so use to me that I had him feeding from my hand! "Onkers" can now be found with the large flock of Geese. If he (though I am not sure if he is a girl or a boy) and his friends cannot be found by The Quay they will be by the Mill on the Exe. I have picked up your e-mail addy so I will contact you with further details about my "Onkers" book.
