Living Here... West of the Exe has a base.
We've found somewhere warm and welcoming where you can find out about the project, meet friends and neighbours, and exchange ideas and stories about life west of the Exe.
Exwick Village School - if walls could talk!
We are based in a building that started life as a school and over the years has taken on various roles as a centre for community activity.
If walls could talk I'm sure these would have a tale or two to tell but if you know anything about the history of the old school please get in touch and tell us your story.
Helping Hands
The volunteer group 'Helping Hands' has cleared the grounds and the building has been given a bit of a face lift with a lick of paint so we are now open for business.

Living Here... isn't only about the past it's about the present too.
If your family has lived and worked in St Thomas, Cowick, Exwick or Alphington for generations, or if you are new to the area, or you simply have an interest in it and would like to find out more about the project, call in, the kettles always on.
