Local children had fun in the Easter holidays as part of the SPLASH playscheme. Eve Malster explains:
"We devised a day that explored the theme of home, location and imagined landscapes. The children made 'homes' which represented their own. Because the homes were made of natural materials they decided to leave them for the animals to shelter in. Back at the centre we played games which explored a sense of place, then made painted wooden pictures using earth pigments."
I thought it was a good day because I made a house for the animals. Lewis
It was a good day there. Callum
This was the first day of the 'Living Here' project for the SPLASH playscheme in Exwick. Ian ran the day with myself; he is a drama therapist who works with the natural environment.
