We are volunteering with the RAMM

Our projects whilst working with the RAMM
By Charlie, May and Florence

We are the latest volunteers for RAMM, helping out with the Living Here project. Our work involves interviewing Natalie McGrath about her play 'West Side' and hearing her views on working with the young community of Exeter, archiving documents to put on the website and creating a group of pages focused on women, coinciding with International Women's Day in March 2009 [now added: IWD].

We go to The Maynard School in Exeter, near St. Leonards. We recently came across a page about our school before the First World War and we were interested to see how it has changed! Many of the buildings have been rebuilt and refurbished due to bombing during the Second World War but two of the buildings remain the same.

We are all looking forward to getting involved with the project!
