Learn to pot at Alphington Pottery

In Alphington Old School, which belongs to the community, there is a hidden gem- a pottery room for hire complete with 5 electric wheels, tools and an electric kiln. Alphington potters will be happy to help you find the right group to join. Cost of hire is roughly £4 a session per person in a small group. Also, from time to time, we run beginners' taster groups, at cost. These 4 week courses will give you an introduction to all the basic ceramic techniques including the wheel. Price for a 4 week course is £25 and includes everything. You will have a least 2 finished pieces too!
Potting is great fun and not hard to do- you need short finger nails and a big apron!!
