Minibeasts are all around us...

What can you spot nearby?
By Sarah, Curator of West Exe

'Minibeasts' have special places where they like to live.  Each type of creature needs something different.  Slugs like it to be warm and damp.  They often hide under leaves and in old flowerpots.  Butterflies need warm sunshine and colourful flowers around them.  Spiders usually stay close to their webs. Helping children to search for insects and other small creatures can be a great way to explore. Click on Add a comment below and tell us what you've spotted in your area...
