1. Exeter from Exwick - Through the Seasons

When a Rain Storm came through
By Heather at Exeter

Over coming months I would like to share with you the wonderful views that look out towards our City from the Hills of Exwick. I always keep a camera close to hand because you never know how the natural lighting conditions will suddenly shift with the time of day or the coming and passing of the weather. During the last few years I have gathered many lovely images and aim to share these over a series of pages. I hope you will enjoy them.

Make sure you also read the Exwick Neighbourhood Museum on this site where you can see how I have used these views in my cartoon drawings: Exwick

The first image shown here was taken just as a heavy rain storm blew across the City centre during 2008. You see the Cathedral towers and other church spires as well as familiar landmarks standing out against the brighter sky.
