My Neighbourhood PACT goes live in Exwick - Have your say!

Exwick Community Centre

11 March, 6 - 7.30pm
By My Neighbourhood PACT

The Council's popular My Neighbourhood PACT scheme returns to Exwick this month. The scheme brings together the council, city councillors, residents and the Neighbourhood Policing teams (as part of the Partners and Communities Together (PACT) work) to make a difference in local neighbourhoods.

A key part of the work will be to liaise with the community to identify the priority issues in Exwick and ensure these are followed up appropriately. Progress will be reported back to communities. Residents of Exwick will be encouraged and supported to be more actively involved in their community and some grants are available to help support community based projects.

The project will be delivered at the Council's end by Area Liaison officer, Joanne Hare, who will have responsibility for supporting the work of the local ward councillors. She is an existing Council officer with community based skills who is taking on the role in addition to her day job. All ages are welcome, a crèche and refreshments will be provided.
